Username Updates

Remote/vpn

1.      Sign into computer with old username (ex. cjmcglone) and password

2.      Sign into VPN with new username (ex. Cory.McGlone) and the same password

3.      Lock computer

4.      Click Other User then login with new username (ex. Cory.McGlone)

5.      Restart computer

6.      Click Other User again then login with new username (ex. Cory.McGlone)

7.      Sign into VPN with new username (ex. Cory.McGlone)

8.      Sign into outlook/teams/skype/Mitel with new email (ex. Cory.McGlone@newvista.org)

9.      In Mitel, click “Show Advanced” and make sure “Use Windows Credentials” is selected

10.  Another login will show up asking to sign into outlook. Use new email address for this (ex. Cory.McGlone@newvista.org)

11.  If you have a work issued phone, you will also need to change your email there. To do this, click Settings > Mail > Add Account > Exchange. Type in your new email and click sign in.

Onsite Login

1.      Restart Computer

2.      Click other user then login with new username (ex. Cory.McGlone)

3.      Sign into outlook/teams/skype/Mitel with new email (ex. Cory.McGlone@newvista.org)

 

4.      In Mitel, click “Show Advanced” and make sure “Use Windows Credentials” is selected

 

a.      Another login will show up asking to sign into outlook. Use new email address for this (ex. Cory.McGlone@newvista.org)
